We have recently taken delivery of a lovely selection of new rugs across a variety of styles and colourways, including some excellent examples of Vintage, Turkish Kilims - some in extra large sizes which are very rare!

Ghazni Kazak Rugs
The Kazak rug designs are typically bold, geometric and embracing a warm palette of jewel colours.
Sultanabad Style Rugs
In the mid/late 19th century, this area became famed from producing a new style of handmade rug design, noted for being more open in design and often wider in proportion to traditional rugs. Rugs in this style can be know as many names including Ziegler, Sultanabad, & Mahal.
Mamluk Rugs
Exceptionally fine rug weaving, detailed designs, and beautiful subtle colour combinations are the hallmarks of this outstanding handmade Mamluk rug collection.
Vintage Kilim Rugs
Kilim rugs, or flat-woven rugs, are hand woven without a pile, often in fairly simple geometric designs, bringing a rustic style to your room.
Sourcing Trip...
Alex Rees, founder of Rugs of Petworth and known to many as the ‘Rug Hunter’, has just returned from another inspiring sourcing trip to Pakistan.
This time, Alex travelled to Lahore and Islamabad, where he carefully selected a stunning range of newly woven rugs—many of which had recently crossed the border from Afghanistan. Arriving in their raw form, these pieces are then expertly washed, trimmed, and finished in Pakistan’s renowned workshops. We’re looking forward to receiving this latest consignment of beautiful rugs and can’t wait to share them with you as soon as they arrive!
