Our Nomad rugs are handmade by artisan weavers in their homes in Afghanistan.  These rugs are mostly designs created by the weavers, often using their surrounding landscape as inspiration.  Sometimes simple checkerboard designs are used, often to use up remaining woolen yarn at random.
