The Taimany Collection — True Floor Art from Herat

Each rug in our Taimany Collection is a one-of-a-kind creation, handwoven by women in Herat, western Afghanistan. Working from their homes with richly dyed, hand-spun wool, the weavers interpret colour and pattern in their own way — no two rugs are ever the same.

Rooted in centuries of Balouchi weaving tradition yet full of modern energy, these pieces balance rustic craft with bold, contemporary design. Cheerful, confident colour and free-flowing geometry make every Taimany rug a statement — floor art that brings warmth, life and personality to any interior.

Each piece is carefully hand-selected by our founder, Alex Rees — the “Rug Hunter” — ensuring only the finest examples reach our West Sussex showroom.
